Description

Starting in Sölden, take the Gaislachkogelbahn cable car to the starting point of the route.

At the start of the hike you will pass the final destination the ice Q restaurant.

After passing this you will continue in a southeasterly direction, slightly downhill.

Around 200m into the hike the path will head further left and become far steeper.

The terrain will now be stoney and rough all the way down to the Gaislacher See, objectively one of the most beautiful lakes within the Ötztal Valley. Follow this same route to return to the ice Q restaurant.
