Description

Gullies 4-6 are not always open and sometimes require a sign out with patrol, observe all signage and gates before entering. After entering the the gate, look for entrances along the cornices, this may require probing, cautious route finding and pole whacking may be required to safely enter.

5th Gully begins with a steep rocky chute, which transitions to an open snowfield.

As you near the end of the snowfield, you can traverse left or right into nearby gullies.

The entrance for lower 5th Gully requires skirting a big cliff, which can only be done with a very rocky sidestep into the chute.

This rarely has enough snow to be skied, but when it's in, first tracks are highly likely.
