Description

Ascending the east face then boot pack up the NE ridge to the summit of Fraser, Alternative skin up the run can also be accessed by skiing and boot packing directly up the line.

The 800m line starts with an airy entrance pitch that rolls into a short steep (up to 45degrees) couloir that empties into the North Face proper.

An alternate entrance 50m down the NE ridge is steeper but less prone to wind loading.

The shorter lines lower down the E shoulder of Fraser peak can provide less committing slopes to gauge conditions.
