Analysing terrain data
As black runs go they come a lot harder than this one.
It has a couple of steep-ish sections but is groomed on a daily (or nightly) basis.
For those used to black runs being near vertical mogul fields, this one may feel more like a tough red run.
However you label it, it’s an enjoyable run with fast sections suited to high speed carving and steeper sections to practise shorter turns.
Look out for slower skiers traversing the piste on the Briance green run that criss-crosses this black run no less than six times on its way down the mountain.
At peak times it can also get busy, but by and large it’s wide enough not to matter too much.
