Big Valley is a groomed green run that starts two-thirds of the way down the north side of Vasquez Ridge, starting at the end of Lower Egress and Stagecoach trails.

Big Valley is the traversing trail that brings you back to the base of Pioneer Express Lift (Vasquez Ridge).
This is a groomed beginner run that is often so flat that novice snowboarders have a hard time keeping up enough speed on this trail near the bottom – one reason why snowboarders avoid this whole lift, especially on cold powder days.
