Description

A long steep groomer, Snorting Elk starts at Elk Pass.

Access by either taking the traverse behind Grubstake Peak or from the top of Northway Chair.

When this slope is groomed, it offers fast, wide turns.

On a powder day, this slope offers a fun, consistent pitch.

Traverse right under Elk Chutes for a more challenging route.

Watch for avalanches from above.

At the bottom of this slope, stay right to avoid the basin or maintain enough speed to get up the other side.
