Description

Gunbarrel is a groomed beginner run that traverses from the top of Pioneer Express Lift back in the direction of the base of Winter Park (southward).

If you are at the top of Pioneer Express Lift (Vasquez Ridge Territory) and realize you need to head back to your car, this is the most efficient way to get there.

As you are getting off the lift, veer left and follow Gunbarrel until it intersects with three trails – Whistlestop (green), Village Way (green), and Lonesome Whistle (blue).

Each of these will take you back to the resort if you keep heading south (away from Vasquez Ridge).
