Nice crossing to pass from the Simme valley to the Black Lake. In particular, the Trimlegable passage is very pretty, wild, and obviously not very frequented.

Description

From Enge station, go up directly following the river, then reach pedestrian tourism.

From there, follow signs for Walop.

It is a long climb that follows a mountain pasture road, phobic cows abstain. Once you have passed out of the pastures, the path climbs to the Trimlegable.

It is not always very well marked, but it is enough to climb the steep grassy slope aiming at the pass. From there, there is a few hundred meters of unmarked road, from which it would be highly inappropriate to fall, because it is really very steep and there are some rocky bars.

Then go up to the Langel pastures, enjoy the view at point 2053, then go down again towards Vordere Walop. Then, just go up the valley towards the Kaisereggpass, the path is obvious, very wide, and presents no difficulty.

Once at the pass, a return trip to the top of the Kaiseregg is possible (not to be impressed by the TP 25min panel is much less). Once back at the pass, go down to Salzmatt, then Hürlisboden.

It is much more pleasant (and quicker) to leave hiking and to follow the river to Schwarzsee.

_This Adventure has been shared under the [Creative Commons Share Alike](https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/2.5/) licence._
