Description

From the hamlet of La Chaud (1400 m), take either the path starting at full W for 200 metres, then climbing towards the N, or the main track starting directly towards the N and then after 300 metres, at an altitude of 1420 m, turn towards the W by a path accessing fields and continue through the pines and brushwood. No path is traced above 1480 m. Continue full W on the Serre du Cheval, until the altitude 1840 m, where the slope straightens up. Establish towards the SW to head towards the rocks of Les Moures. It is not the first visible rocky bar that interests us, but the 2e, more important, on the left. The valley between the 2 rocky bars is easy to climb for those who want the most direct route. Arriving at the end of the left rocky bar, at 2142 m, we find the arch of Les Moures.

It is possible to climb from below, it is easier to climb by the rocks on the right (no III about). After visiting the arch, resume the ascent to the W, in the alpine pastures, sometimes with a semblance of a path. Reach the ridge and follow it horizontally to the post marking the summit.<br/><br/>_This Adventure has been shared under the [Creative Commons Share Alike](https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/2.5/) licence._
