Description

A little narrower than its neighbors, Finger Chute #2 is hidden in plain sight.

The Northway Chair might rumble overhead, but you'll be spared the "under the chair pressure" thanks to the tight trees guarding the entrance to this chute.

Watch for hidden trees and rocks at the top.

This chute is wide enough to make turns, and the trees and the biggest barrier to entry.

Once past those trees, this slope is steep, but opens to a wide apron (and the view from the chair again).

Ski/ride 400 vertical feet to the Northway Run.

Follow that to the bottom for another lap.

Note that once through any Northway Gate cliffs and other hazards are not marked.

This is avalanche prone terrain.

Carry the proper equipment and ski and ride with a partner.
