Description

From any point of Meran Meran or Passeiertal take the beautiful bike path that runs along the river Passer until you meet the signs that indicate the Maisler Waalweg (typical path that runs along the canals of water used for irrigation): with caution - both for the width and for the presence of hikers - take it and follow it until you come to the detour to Schenna: for steep but compact path leads you will soon reach the beautiful village near the church. Now go up the asphalt road in the direction of Verdins, pass the village and the departure of the small cable car and near a hairpin bend take on the left a beautiful forest almost flat.At a certain point there are two possibilities: go straight on, cross it on a bridge and then along steep asphalted roads following the signs for Widegg; or take a detour to the right, cross the river further upstream and from here on push to a farm and then push again to almost Widegg (shorter alternative but not pedelecable uphill: the GPS track follows this variant). Descent: There are various alternatives, including this one. Along the asphalt road to Oberkirn and then Prenn -uphill stations of two cable cars- and near the gasthof ""Zum Gustl"" take on the left a path with signs Saltaus\Verdins and descend along beautiful and fast meadows well groomed.

ignoring all the other signs always follow only those for Saltaus and after trails in forests alternating with mule tracks finally arrive at the bottom of the valley along the cycle path of the river Passer and from here to the starting point.

_This Adventure has been shared under the [Creative Commons Share Alike](https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/2.5/) licence._
