##Ascent Above the farm, take the path to the right (if you choose to do the loop in this direction).

The path passes over a viewpoint (indicated on the IGN map). After the slope is much more steep but without difficulty (good marked path). To arrive thus at the hut of Suet, to begin to leave the forest gradually.

The path passes through a small area of lapiaz, then reach the summit of Suet (1826 m) by a grassy slope. ##Crossing Le Suet-Mont-Lachat ####Classical Du Suet, go to the S.

The trail descends and crosses a lapiaz area (yellow markings) and then climbs up to stay on the side of the ridge (the trail is partially indicated in black dotted line on the IGN map).

Cross some rocky bars, follow the signs always yellow and red sometimes. After a short descent, join the path that comes from the Mare. All that remains is to reach the summit of Mont-Lachat. ####More difficult variant:(T5) Follow the markings.

Go down and pass through a fairly dance vegetation.

Go around a first summit then leave the path to join the edge line.

Pass several gaps and regularly find easy but often exposed climbing steps in 3 or 4.

Halfway through a pretty razor blade where you have to stand on the wire and put the body pouring Thônes. The second part of the ascent is easier, the climbing steps are less frequent. Note: * Possibility to follow the edge line earlier but this is not interesting given the density of vegetation. * The itinerary is not engaged because it is possible to escape almost all along the Thônes slope to join the classic crossing path. ##Descending From the top, take the path to descend to the Mare.

So, leave the path on the left for the crossing from Le Suet, then a second one on the left that comes directly from the hut of Le Suet.
