Description

From[Cap de Long dam] (http://www.camptocamp.org/parkings/129026) (2175 m) follow the summer trail if it is cleared of snow (in case of snow pass through the lake) until about 2300 m in the Cap de Long valley. * By ski, the itinerary is then obvious: it consists of going up the beautiful NNE slopes that lead to the summit.

At the 2527 m point, steep slopes may, depending on the conditions, push you to choose to climb up a croup on the left (when climbing). * On foot, follow the path first on the right bank of the Cap de Long torrent, then cross it around 2350 m, to pass the waterfalls through the rocky crest on the left bank (less marked path).

We reach a lake around 2590 m, continue opposite by a trace in red grounds to reach the foot of the moraine of the former glacier of the Baché Country (flat at 2790 m).

Go up the moraine on the left bank of the glacier, then the E croup to the top of Maubic Peak (large boulders, rock slabs)

_This Adventure has been shared under the [Creative Commons Share Alike](https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/2.5/) licence._
