Description

You better like skiing between tightly spaced trees in powder or perhaps skiing packed powder with uneven moguls when you drop into this terrain.

There are chutes, cliffs and plenty of trees on an above average slope.

This is a challenging black diamond run due to the tightly spaced trees, plus the cliffs and chutes up the ante. Access this area via the Sherwood Chair Lift.

Turn right when you exit the lift and head straight along the wide groomed road at the top of the slope.

The Sherwood Cliff slopes are the slopes to your left.

Follow skier tracks to your left into the trees which will lead to various unmarked coveted slopes dropping off the edge of the treed ridge line. Although these slopes are short in length, they are a joy to ski and technical enough to be challenging even to an expert.

This area faces north.

You will end up at the base of Alpine Bowl chair or the Loop Road run.
