Description

The Peel is a great option for extending your day after the Banana.

It is about 600 feet of vertical and 40 degrees at the steepest.

Depending on snow levels, parts of the Peel can be 8-10 feet wide but generally it's around 25 feet.

The line is pretty south facing, so be on the look out for solar effects.

Park at the Bracket creek parking lot, then head up the North fork road.

Take the main creek drainage for about 2.5 miles, then start heading up to the right as the trees thin out and you start to see Ross Peak really well.

Take these trees up to the East shoulder and eventually up the East face.

Skin a moderately steep section for about 400ft until you reach the top of the East face.

Ski back down the East face, trending right, and after about 500 feet, you'll be near the top of the Peel.

Ski about 1000 feet back to the creek gully, eventually hitting your skin track.
