Description

Paradise starts as a steep open face, then mellows out over undulating terrain.

This run is a good one to start with for first timers to Northway.

All of the terrain served by this chair is advanced and expert skiers and riders only and avalanche prone.

Cliffs and other hazards are not marked.

The chairlift is a fixed grip double, and it speeds along at a good clip.

Loading the chair might be difficult for intermediates.

While Paradise Bowl includes everything from Bruce's Bowl to Horseshoe Cliffs, Paradise run starts just below Gate 5.

It rolls over steeply at the top, making this a challenging black diamond.

Head to Paradise once you've mastered Middle Ferks.

When Paradise is groomed, this makes for a long, exhilarating run.

On powder days, Paradise lives up to its name.

Drop straight on from Gate 5 for the steepest section.

Work left towards a band of trees for a little mellower grade or when visibility is low.

Follow the gradient for 600 vertical feet in this wide bowl that collects numerous runs.

The gradient continues to ease as you approach Otto Bahn.

Follow it to the bottom of Northway Chair.
