Description

Toledo Chute starts off the top of the large broad peak to the W of Flagstaff Peak.

This is a great roadside run that can be quickly skied as a morning run if you've got to get to work.

Or, it's a great way to start the day and then ski some of the other surrounding bowls.

Access by parking at Our Lady Of The Snow church 7 miles up the canyon.

From here head towards the Flagstaff and Cardiff Pass trails.

Break off and head up Toledo Bowl towards the pass between Flagstaff Peak.

From the saddle head to the W along the ridge until topping out on the line.

The entry has a few different lanes that are skiable.

The pitch is in the low 40 degree range and rolls over a little steeper then maintains for several hundred feet.

They both descend through some rocky chutes and then open up onto a great apron that can be skied right back down to the road.
