Description

This is blue trail that is often groomed and a morning favorite for the locals. Access to this trail is via the Summit Six Chair Lift.

Exit the lift right or left and then perform a U Turn heading down Peril Ridge under the chair.

A hundred yards down the ridge look to your right and you will find Sunspot.

Obviously named for the amount of morning sun it receives each day.

This is a short, moderately steep and even slope from top to bottom.

It is often groomed.

It merges with Alpine Bowl run at the bottom. The trail is open with few trees or rock bands.

This is an excellent cruiser to warm you up in the morning. Easy to access, fun for making wide arcing turns, and just the right slope for an intermediate skier.

This run has the bonus of views of Lake Tahoe on a clear day.
