Analysing terrain data
Boxcar is located to the skier's left of and about 3/4 of the way up the 'Heart Attack Hill' section of the climb to Highland Peak.
This is an option for skiers who do not want to hike all the way to the summit.
However, the 37 degree pitch is generally bumped up and sun baked, due to its east/south east facing direction.
This makes for less then desirable conditions on many days, however, if you get to this run on a powder morning you may have fresh tracks all to yourself.
This run quickly drops from the Highlands hike fall line between two large groupings of trees that restrict the skier's ability to make really big turns.
However, the wide pitch above and below these trees provides plenty of room for the expert skier.
