Analysing terrain data

Filip's Leap is one of the only runs in the Highland Bowl that has actual terrain features like cliffs and hip jumps.

Just up the hill from an old green patrol shack, this run has an average pitch of just 36 degrees and a length of only 650 vertical feet, but still offers opportunity for big air and fast skiing for experts only.

Drop in off the cliff on the skier's left of the main entrance and double that up with another several turns below.

These two features are great on a powder day and can also be enjoyed when there isn't powder, if your skills allow.

This run is east/south east facing and, due to its low elevation (11,780 feet), it takes a lot of consistent cold weather and snow to cover the rocks to fill in the landings to these cliffs.

This run is generally not even skiable in deep winter.

Proceed with caution.
