Description

After a taxi from Karakol, the trek begins by the Kazakh border in the small village of Jyrgalan.

This first day provides a little taste of the Kyrgyzstan wilderness as you hike up the Jyrgalan Valley.

After 6km, you take a right to follow the Terim-Tör Bulak river, which you'll continue to follow for the remainder of the day.

There are plenty of camping opportunities along the trail for your first night in this incredible region.
