Description

Lower Parkway is a groomed green run that takes skiers and riders from Lower Village Way/Parkway through a catwalk to a final hill down to the base of Winter Park.

Although this trail is rated “beginner,” there are two sections that are challenging: the catwalk that takes you to the final slope and the final slope.

The catwalk is narrow, and often icy and crowded, as most of the traffic from the mountain’s north end gets funneled into here.

The final hill is steep, but it’s wide and has a perfect fall line.

If it’s not crowded, this hill can be great for blasting some fast GS turns before you hit the bottom.
