Description

This is one of the lines off of the Palisades.

To access, exit Siberia Express, turn left towards the Patrol Shack and check signs to make sure the Palisades are open.

Take your skis off and hike up the ridge line to the top of Squaw Peak.

When on top, the Chimney is the first one on your left.

This is the most difficult, rocky line in the Palisades.

Most skiers straight line it into Siberia Bowl, although a few make turns.

Lot's of ski movies and published still photos are taken in the Chimney.

There are a few different lines within the Chimney and most have mandatory air over rocks.

Be careful when exiting into Siberia Bowl as the traverse tracks have caused more than a few falls.
