Description

The Sun Steps are a section of slightly gladed terrain with playful features and small drops, slightly atypical of Crested Butte terrain.

The Sun Steps are accessed by a small traverse and side step up to the top of a knoll that begins the section.

If you want to skip the side step, you could cut in directly from the Phoenix Steps area, but it significantly diminishes the vertical of an already small run.

The terrain faces northeast, so it gets a little more sun that the surrounding terrain.

From the Sun Steps, continue onto the Rock N Roll Glades, or cut out on to the Phoenix Steps.

Be aware that Rock N Roll Glades ends with the Dead End Chutes, so be aware of where you are going.
