Description

Experts only! Hug the rope line on Parry’s Peek until you see an obvious gate on the right.

As you descend into the trees, keep fading to the left.

This area is not patrolled - carry a beacon, probe and shovel, and if you get injured, pray for cell phone coverage.

This great tree skiing comes out on Highway 40, just uphill of the Jane entrance.

Catch the shuttle bus at the entrance to get back to your car or hitchhike (do this hike earlier in the day when there is still traffic heading to the base).

This is not really a run – it’s more like steep, non-maintained forest with dead fall and rock ledges where you can get stuck.

If it’s your first time down this area, go with people who have done it before.

Bring a beacon and never go in there alone.

This is the real deal.
