Analysing terrain data
High Road is a long blue connecting trail that runs from Superstar (middle) all the way down to Northbrook Trail, to the base of Needle’s Eye Express Quad.
If you're entering off Superstar, it will be a narrow traverse to Skye Lark.
Once you cross there, you will get a lot of traffic all the way to where it intersects Bittersweet.
Continue on and it gets a bit steep here while you pass the sharp turn into the top of the Snowshed area.
(NOTE: If you are taking High Road to the top of the Snowshed Express Quad then make sure you keep to the left and slow down.
STAY ALERT for an extremely sharp turn to skier’s left along a narrow connecting trail onto Snowshed.) If you continue on High Road and don’t turn to access Snowshed, you will come down onto a nice wide section of the trail under the Northbrook Quad.
Beware of people bombing this section as anyone on this part of the trail is trying to make it to the base of the Needle’s Eye Express Quad and as such, they need to build up speed to make it through a long flat run-out onto Northbrook Trail: It is well worth it to spend some time in the Needle’s Eye area.
This trail gets varied light and perfect for people connecting from Superstar all the way over to Needle’s Eye or the top of Snowshed.
