Description

Kleenex Corner begins as the flat portion of Spar Gulch meets a sharp left-hand turn ending above Upper Little Nell run.

Overlooking town, this point is a great spot to take photos skiing down into town, one of the most unique parts about skiing in Aspen.

It is also the junction of several other runs, such as the run-outs for the popular Silver Queen run, and the intimidatingly steep Silver Rush.

Here, you can also see the restored historical Compromise Mine.

Options for descending into the lower mountain, town and the gondola consist of keeping skier's left and heading towards un-groomed, bumpy runs in the Race Course area or skiing down into town on Upper Little Nell and Little Nell runs, which are always well-groomed.

Yes, you can ski straight into a real town.

Or you can go down to any number of great restaurants, like Ajax Tavern or Element 47 for lunch with your family, or for Aprés beers at Chair 9 in The Little Nell hotel.

For adventure seekers, drop early on skier's right just after your go around the corner on Kleenex Corner.

A fun, freeride-like double black diamond called Niagara is a short and sweet bump run to end another great top-to-bottom ski on Aspen Mountain.
