Description

For the descent you need a very good visibility at the summit, because there are only few distinctive landmarks.

There is possible avalanche danger for the steep variations (direction Doischalm).

Straight from the top of the entire ridge you can expect cornices.

Many go via easier terrain, but you need to travel on the narrow ridge with a good ski technique. On the alpine pastures below, there can be typical obstacles, such as barbed wire, fence posts, cattle troughs, etc You shouldn't be too late for this run because consideration needs to be made of the operation times of the Tyrol lift. Get off the "Hochalm 6er" to the right and then blue ski piste no.

25, you follow up onto a small saddle.

The piste here then heads into a strong right turn (about 1870m).

Go straight up to the E to the summit (1910m approx) of the Hochalmspitze.

The actual summit can be left in a NE direction along the ridge through a small depression (about 1850m).

Then, along the ridge, it rises again for about 10m.

Here, already different variants can be approached to the right.

Care must be taken, especially on the steeper sections at the beginning of the descent. A fun descent is in the direction of Lieneralm (1576m).

Above the Lieneralm - approximately 1620m - you ideally head left through the woods to get to undulating pastureland and a forest road (about 1350m).

Follow this road downhill to the north to a new wooden hut for about 350m and then go on flat grasslands to the N valley.

The forest road is crossed repeatedly.

Depending on the choice of line and snow, ditches and waterways can be expected in this meadow.

At about 1100m, keep to the right of the field and cross directly behind a wooden hut on a ridge to the station "Pulvermacheralm".
