A fine path turning into a challenging slope, facing the Eggalm.

Analysing terrain data

Piste 64 starts as a side path of the 63, several turns below the top of the Lämmerbichl lift.

This path is one of the finest runs in the Rastkogel area, because of its magnificent view over the Tux valley and the Eggalm area on the opposite mountain.

And it is quiet.

The path leads to a wide, steep run, where you will be on your own for a little while longer.

Soon, many skiers join in from the left, since a moderately steep section of the 64 starts at the top of the Rastkogelbahn.

The next section of the run can be very icy.

Snow ploughers, looking for piste 63, join in as well.

They deserve a break at the cosy Heidi's Skialm, before continuing with the broad, straight piste, until ending at the bottom of the Lämmerbichl lift.
