Description

It is generally a long ski day for most people.

The start is very basic and gets you a great warm up.

Once you make it onto the French glacier you will need to choose a safe approach up to the Haig Glacier.

As you climb and wrap around the Haig Glacier you will have one of the best views in Alberta.

You head to the boot pack up to the Robertson Col where this area should be assessed base on weather, snow conditions and your local avalanche bulletin.

Once you are done the boot pack you can enter the Robertson Glacier where you can ski down and hopefully ski all the way to the car or put your skins back on. Highly recommend doing this on e blue bird day where limited weather systems are coming through.

You are travelling across three glaciers so having the appropriate gear and knowledge is key.

Read snow pack reports and avalanche Canada website.
