Analysing terrain data
Monument is a steep ungroomed run overlooking the front side of the mountain.
Don't let the views distract you from skiing.
This steep, bumpy, and rocky run should probably be classified as double black diamond.
The skier's right side of the tree island has a mellower pitch, while the left is steeper.
It is a great way for advanced skiers to beat the crowd down to Ruby Road and trails like Crystal and International.
From Monument's finishing point on Ruby Road, you can also access extreme terrain such as the lower sections of Peel and Forest.
