Morning Glory is one of Crested Butte's hidden gems.
Popular with the locals, you can take Morning Glory off the skier's left traverse from the top of Teocalli Bowl or the high ridge traverse of Headwall.
It descends an open pitch in between some trees that can be rocky in the early season.
You can find more well-spaced trees on either side of the trail and Morning Glory becomes Teo Tongue as the terrain benches out through some trees.
There is a large rock on the skier's right side of Morning Glory that is a popular freeride air.
You can continue onto the Teo Tongue down to the bottom of Teocalli Bowl or you catch a traverse on the left side of Morning Glory through the trees that wraps back around to Headwall under Solar Glaze.
The wind can blow snow into Morning Glory when it hasn't snowed in days so it's always worth it to check this one out.
If you continue down Teo Tongue you have to do the 10-15 minute hike back up to Paradise Bowl.
