Description

Log Jam is similar in nature to the other advanced gladed trails in the Crystal zone such as Arthur's Choice and Rider's Revenge.

On stormy days when the alpine lifts remain closed, these gladed runs offer some of your best options for tree skiing.

However, Log Jam is much shorter than Arthur's Choice in length and ducks into the trees on the skier's left side of Ridge Runner where the run splits off into Twist and Shout.

This run starts and ends back on the groomed terrain of Ridge Runner and is only a slight diversion through the glades.

Once out of the trees, you're only real options to the base of the chairlift are intermediate, groomed ones.

If you're looking for a long run with steep and tight trees you might be quickly disappointed to find out how fast you rip through here.

On the flip side, if you are looking for a short but sweet entry point into skiing in the trees, the quick length of this run is a good first taste of the glades.

It is short enough that if you don't like it, you will be back on groomed terrain in no time!
