Description

The 2-man Maulerhubel chair accesses two short runs, which are both marked 4 on the piste map.

Sadly both face directly south and, with no snowmaking (it is however due to be installed in the next couple of years), the conditions can deteriorate quickly in warm sunny weather.

But catch them on a cold day when freshly groomed and you're in for a treat. From the top of the lift head to the right where the two options await.

Choose the right-hand option that runs parallel to the lift as it is wide when groomed out fully, allowing you to pick up some good speed and enjoy the gentle rollers.

The final pitch is slightly steeper and can become mogully in springtime as the sun quickly softens the piste, so just be sure you've scrubbed off enough speed before you reach it! The alternative route runs to skier's left of the main slope and is used more for when the sun has melted away the main slope.

More than half of the run would be classed as a cat track, so it's not really worth using this slope unless snow conditions force you to do so.
