Description

10th Mountain is an area to pick whatever line hasn't been done before, although labelled as black diamond terrain, intermediates can try this area out for their first taste of tree skiing.

However as a result, a lot of intermediates do do this, hence I would suggest other areas for experienced skiers, most notably Motherlode, McConkey's or Crescent express.

This area runs under the lift, and holds some nicely spaced pines, perfect for learning to ski amongst the trees.

Plus it holds the snow pretty well too! Don't get too excited though, as this area gets tracked out faster than you could say powder.
