It is easy accessible from Gaustablikk Høyfjellshotell.

Just walk pass Sport’n Skikaféand turn left towards Gaustablikk Fjellhytter, then take right and start climbing the slope.

Now you have a 4 km hike tour in beautiful mountain nature in front of you.

Don’t miss the viewpoint at the top of Skipsfjell! From here you have a beautiful view of Gaustatoppen and the valley of Rjukan.

This hike tour is fairly easy and therefore suitable for families as well as advanced hikers.

The hike takes about 1 hour.
