From the Moitzerlitzplatz car park in Regen, walk along hiking trail no.
3 through Heilig-Geist-Gasse, over Kattersdorfer Höhe and the hamlet of Eggenried uphill and downhill in approx.
1.5 hours to the village of Großseiboldsried, where a path branches off to Langbruck at the village chapel.
There you come to hiking trail no.
14, which you don't leave until Zell.
From here it takes about five minutes to reach the small village of Dösingerried on footpath no.
13 via Fichtenbach, and ten minutes from the centre of the village on footpath no.
6 to the Todtenau high moor.
Several information boards describe the origin of the 13,500 year old moor and its fauna and flora, and after a detailed visit to this nature reserve, you continue on the nature experience trail (trail no.
6) via Reichertsried to Kirchberg.
From the Sportplatz bus stop, you can take the RBO bus back to Regen, a wonderful half-day hike that not only trains your leg muscles but also teaches you about the region.
