Description

From the car park at the end of the Hüttenwiesenweg, the trail first leads through the spa gardens and past the sports facilities.

At the water treading facility, the path turns left into the Bächlestal and leads to the game enclosure, where wild boar, fallow deer and red deer can be observed at close range.

If you want to make a longer stop, you can test your stamina there in the climbing forest.

The route continues uphill to the highest point of the path to the Mariengrotte, the construction of which was the thanksgiving of a Heigenbrücken family for the return of their son from war captivity.

On the short terrain height, the route continues on level ground, then downhill again into the Lohr valley and back to the starting point.
