Description

On the connecting road Pflaumheim - Mömlingen on the hill lies the marking Hesselburg.

Here cellar vaults were uncovered and remains of a Roman manor were discovered during excavations.

To conserve the historical finds, everything was covered with earth again.

After the start of the short circular path, we first walk past the Pflaumheimer Grabhügeln (prehistoric finds).

We leave the main path half left, walk along the edge of the forest to a water tower.

Turn left there and a short time later cross the connecting road.

You reach the beautiful Mariengrotte in the forest, cross the main road again and you are back at the starting point.
