Description

Above Innsbruck stands a King, petrified into rock by the curse of a farmer because of his violent temper.

This is how the fable goes, describing the mountain Serles that you can see to the south-west on this panoramic run from the city of Innsbruck.

Start and finish from Bierstindl, naturally, where you can enjoy a refreshing drink after the run.

The route is fairly short, with a lot of ups and downs on loamy & flowy forest singletrail, ideal for a leg shakeout if you've just arrived via plane for your holiday or want a recharging after-work jaunt.

At the highest point, Lanser Kopf, you will be rewarded with beautiful views over our city in the heart of the Alps, Innsbruck, and the magnificent Serles in the Stubai Valley.
