Description

Climbing up above the city of Innsbruck, run along forest trails and visit the charming Alms.

Our take on the "Pub Crawl." Start and finish at Löwen Haus where a beer can be enjoyed afterwards (after all, we are in Austria).

Cross the old bridge and climb the trail switchbacks towards Wilhelm-Greil-Weg and watch out for the small singletrack to your left that takes you to the 30 turns – a tightly switchbacked climb with great views over the Inn as you reach the top and look behind you (NB: there is a Strava segment for the taking if you do the trail in reverse, making it a downhill, all-out).

The trail flattens out as you head east and up to Arzler Alm, where on summer Wednesday's they offer an all-you-can-eat barbecue.

From here, head west towards Umbrüggler Alm on flow trails and then down towards the Alpenzoo.

This run can be extended to include Enzian Hütte & Höttinger Alm via the Durachsteig.
