Description

Take the Lac Intrets chairlift to just below the summit of the Hauts Forts.

Climb up into the bowl and ascend the northeast facing couloir onto the ridge before climbing to the summit.

Enjoy spectacular views before descending via the western ridge that gradually tapers down towards the top of the couloir.

The entrance to the couloir is obvious however it can sometimes be tricky to negotiate the get in, depending on the snow conditions.

Once you are in the couloir however, you can enjoy an exciting descent between the high rock walls before opening out onto a wide face and charging all the way down into the trees.

There are often many tracks in the lower half of the face that are easy to follow through the woods to reach the piste down to Prodains.
