Description

Begin at the parking lot and follow the trail as it climbs uphill.

Stay on the main trail then head left onto the wide trail, continuing uphill, passing the Smoke Bluff Wall on your left. The trail flattens out when you reach a children's playground.

At the sign for the Loop Trail, head left and walk up the steep, narrow trail as it climbs quickly.

Follow the trail in a clockwise direction back to the children’s playground and down to the parking lot.

The trail passes many climbing areas which are well worth stopping to look at, but you’ll need to stay on the main loop trail to continue your hike.

It’s worth stopping at each of the three viewpoints along the trail to take in the stunning views of the Howe Sound, the industrial area of Squamish and The Chief.
