Raven is a great option for those looking to start skiing advanced, 'black diamond' designated runs.

Raven is a short run that starts at the top of the Garbanzo Express to skier's right and is well-marked.

Raven is not overly long and quickly gives you the choice at the end to choose the run on the right, Old Crow, leading to the base of the Emerald Express or Ptarmigan, taking a longer route to the lower mountain.

Raven is also on the grooming list, and checking on the light boards about the grooming status will help you figure out if it has been freshly groomed.

Raven is also not overly steep, making it a great jumping off point to start skiing more advanced terrain at Whistler.
