You start at the forecourt of the collegiate church Spital am Pyhrn, cross the Pyhrnpass-Straße (B 138) and stand in front of the municipal office (on the left around the corner the tourist office).

Turn into the Weinmeisterstraße and walk slightly uphill for about 500 m.

Now turn right, past the Hotel Botenwirt/Jugendgästehaus, to the bridge over the Trattenbach, which you cross.

Continue to the left along the brook up the road until you reach Grünau (1.7 km), where you can either cross the Dr.

Vogelsang gorge or take the road to the Bosruckhütte, which can also be reached via the gorge.

Follow the signs "Rohrauerhaus" following the road, interrupted by a steep stony path leading uphill, which leads back into the road to the Rohrauerhaus (1,308 m), which you reach after a total of 8.2 km.

200 m on a forest path to the "Pyhrgasgatterl" (1,305 m), here you cross the border from Upper Austria into Styria, continue downhill on path no.

601 in the direction of Hall, past the turnoff to the Scheiblingstein.

It is 2.2 km to the Gstattmaier Alm (968 m - not farmed!).

From here it is relatively flat and comfortable on a forest road 2.8 km to Hall-Mühlau (755 m) - here is the parking lot Mühlau, that is the starting point for the hikers direction Scheiblingstein and Rohrauerhaus.

Follow now the road up to the bus stop "Hall - Schwarzenbachbrücke", here you turn right on a gravel road, which you follow up to the next crossing with a small settlement.

Here you walk a short distance to the right until you reach the Eßlingbach bridge.

Now follow the signs "Salzlehrpfad" along the Eßling to the amusement park Hall.

The distance from the Mühlbau car park to the Hall leisure park car park is 4.5 km.

Here you cross the village street and follow the path along the Eßling to the football field of the TUS Admont.

Now you cross the Buchauer Straße and on an asphalted side road you come to the Eßlingbrücke shortly before the junction into the Enns.

After crossing the Eßlingbrücke bridge, you can find out about the region's tourist attractions at the Info Point at the Hall roundabout.

If you are travelling on a Sunday, you will get your "Benedikt-Weg" stamp opposite at the inn "Zur Ennsbrücke"/Fam.

Pirafelner.over the Ennsbrücke you will reach the market Admont (640 m), which you will cross to the information office of the National Park Gesäuse and the Tourist Office Alpine Region National Park Gesäuse.

It is 2.2 km from the Hall leisure park to the information office.

Here you will receive the stamp for your Benediktweg pass during opening hours.
