Description

From the Gasthof Jagasimmerl, the Almuferweg (Almuferweg), opened in 2014, leads from the beginning to the right of the Almseestraße valley.

After an hour at ¾ the very interesting wildlife park Cumberland is reached.

Here you can admire native animal species such as deer, wild boars, brown bears, lynxes, wolves and many others, as well as a stop in the Wildparkstüberl (only with entrance to the Wildpark).

A flat path leads alongside the road to Fischerau, then the path leads directly next to the alpine pasture to the houses of Heckenau, where you cross the alpine pasture road to the right, where the path returns to the alpine pasture river.

Via Rabenstein, the pension Wanderruh and Reichenau Grünau is reached.

The tourist office is located in the municipal office in the centre of the village.
