Description

Through the herb gate you reach the parish moat.

Along the way different herbs are described.

Taste, see, smell and feel all kinds of herbs.

Enjoy the variety and enjoy the wonderful surroundings.

After approx.

30 minutes you will reach the herb garden at the Biohof Abraham at almost 800 m above sea level.

Later you will pass the European watershed on the "Tischberger Höh".

Another highlight are the herb fields, which are cultivated by regional herb farmers of the Bergkräutergenossenschaft.

The company building and the shop of this mountain herb cooperative are only a few minutes away from the hiking trail.

The trail leads you over several beautiful vantage points back to Hirschbach in the centre of the village and on a section of the mountain herb trail is the herb nature trail.

This circular route begins at Kräuterstadl and leads over the parish moat to the herb garden at Abrahamhof and back to the starting point.

Tip: Take a break at the herb garden and enjoy the variety of herbs and the beautiful surroundings! In Oberdorf there is the mountain herb drying hall, in Thierberg there is the sales point of the mountain herb processing plant.
