Description
Lobster Trap is a route through what are often referred to as the Hourglass Cliffs.
The Hourglass Cliffs are a rock outcropping that is exposed to high winds.
The snowpack is often very thin.
The thin snowpack coupled with the many rock features means that there are often small avalanches in Hourglass Cliffs. Lobster Trap has a narrow entrance that is often affected by the wind, which can significantly change its appearance/approachability.
Once into the chute, there are some small terrain features that can be jumped off of/played with.
