Description

First you hike uphill to the village of Haid.

At the brick wayside shrine turn right, on the left you see a Sacherl in stone bare, a few steps further on another Sacherl.

Then the asphalted road turns into a nature trail which leads you comfortably through woods and meadows, past the Nedingerhof, also stone bare, to Wienau, where you can admire the Hoisnkapelle and the Hoisnhof (see "Places of interest").

The way back leads through the village of Eipoldschlag.

There are many small monuments carved from granite to be discovered along the entire route.

Special feature - Hoisnhaus and Hoisnkapelle - this unique granite stone chapel is located near the Hoisnhaus.

The village chapel, built in the Steinboß construction method, consists exclusively of granite stones worked by farmers.

Even the roof construction is completely made of granite stone.

The columns and door vestments were engraved with ethnologically valuable and extremely symbolic motifs.

An exact description is contained in the church guide of Weitersfelden.
