Description

From the "http://www.krimmler-tauernhaus.at/sommer/"Krimml Tauernhaus you hike to the end of the Krimml Achental valley.

On this way you will pass some alpine pastures - among others the "http://jaidbachalm.at/" Jaidbachalm, which runs a show dairy.

Shortly after the Innerkees Alm, the hiking trail to the "https://www.warnsdorferhuette.at/"Warnsdorfer Hütte branches off on the left.

This managed refuge offers a good opportunity to stop for a bite to eat.

From here you have the possibility to climb the top of the hut - the Gamsspitzl.

From its summit you have a wonderful view of the Hohe Tauern.

If you want to do it a little more comfortably, you can reach the ice lake, an impressive glacial lake, in approx.

15 minutes from the hut.
